Master in Diplomacy and International Affairs (Asia Pacific)
Spanning Jakarta, Doha and Washington, DC, the Master in Diplomacy and International Affairs (MDIA) is a 9-month, multi-campus degree designed for mid-career professionals ready to engage with the complexities of international affairs and global policy. You’ll build expertise in economic diplomacy, energy and environmental policy and negotiation ā and graduate prepared for impactful roles across the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
Georgetown Semester in Jakarta
Deepen your masterās degree at the School of Foreign Service experience by spending a semester in Jakarta at the intersection of the Asia Pacific and the Global South. Through immersive, field-based learning, you’ll engage directly with real-world policy challenges and develop actionable solutions to some of the region’s most pressing issues.
Policy Labs
Work on real policy challenges through GSAP’s thematic Policy Labs. Collaborate with practitioners and partners to develop solutions shaped by the complexities of the Asia Pacific, producing work with relevance and impact that extends well beyond the classroom. Through field-based research, these labs examine how global practices can be adapted to real-life policy contexts in the Asia Pacific.
